Home Sweet Home!

We are finally home after living in the hospital for two weeks. I went in the hospital Jan. 6th because I was having strong contractions, not fun. Long story short they admitted me and put an Iv in and gave me magnesium sulfate to stop the labor and put me on bed rest. If you never been on mag. it is not fun at all and is HORRIBLE. Anyways they finally did they second Amino to check to see if his lungs were developed and they were. We are so blessed to bring a BEAUTIFUL BABY into this world. Ridge Tyler Mortensen was born Sat. Jan. 17th @ 11:02 am weighing 8 pounds 12 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long. He was born 4 weeks early and he got to come home with us healthy and strong. We love him so much and are so Thankful to our Heavenly Father for sending such a sweet spirit. I want to Thank my Family and Friends that helped us through this rough time, we couldn't have done it without you. I am so happy to be home and be with my kids, I have missed them so much. Life is great when you have been blessed with a Beautiful Family!

Heehee!! What cute pictures!! He is such a beautiful baby and I just want to give him lots of kisses! So glad you guys are home, and that you are both doing well. I was actually going to call you earlier to see if they were letting you go home, but I never got a minute to myself today. Well, have a great first night home, and hopefully he will be good tonight! =0) Talk at ya later! -Fawn-

I'm so glad that he's here and that you're both doing alright. It must be such a relief to have him here safely. I hope that the transition to having three goes smoothly. (I miss you guys and I'm glad to know that you're home.)

Just a day after our Storm! We both had a lot of the same issues, too. Bed rest is NOT fun, I had to be on it, too. Glad he is healthy!

My Sister said she saw you there at the Hospital. I was in on January 8th, giving birth to our precious little Elizabeth who was Stillborn on January 9th.

I got admitted a few weeks earlier for pre term labor too. They also put me on Mag. YUCK ! I couldn't see straight, I was HOT and I threw up a few times. Although I must say that they freaked me out telling me all the terrible side effects of the Mag. But none of the terrible ones happened, so that was good.

Congrats on your sweet Baby. He is just darling !
